Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 1-0 to win their third LaLiga match in a row and maintaining their unbeaten record in the league.
Jude Bellingham scored the winning goal in the 81st minute. The Englishman has been in excellent, scoring four goals in the first three games of the season.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, who joined from Chelsea, made his debut in goals for Real Madrid. Celta Vigo had a goal disallowed in the third minute when VAR review showed a foul by Jorgen Strand Larsen on Kepa.
Vinicius Jr got injured and was replaced by Joselu in the 18th minute. There were chances on both sides, with Oscar Mingueza’s effort for Celta going over the bar and Jonathan Bamba missing the target for Madrid.
In the 56th minute, Rodrygo’s shot was deflected wide, and Madrid continued to dominate possession. Federico Valverde and Rodrygo combined, setting up a chance for Bellingham, but Valverde missed narrowly.
In the 66th minute, Rodrygo was fouled by the goalkeeper inside the box, resulting in a penalty for the visitors. However, Villar made a great save to deny Rodrygo’s penalty.
With nine minutes left, Bellingham scored his fourth goal of the season, heading in a corner from Kroos, securing a hard-fought win for Real Madrid.
