Kaizer Chiefs’ preseason match against Young Africans will be broadcasted live on Supersport.
Amakhosi left on Thursday for Tanzania where they will take on Young Africans in first leg of their brief pre-season African tour.
Amakhosi will take on Young Africans in a profile friendly at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in the Tanzanian capital city, Dar es Salaam this coming Saturday 22 July, kicking off at 7pm.
“With the league set to get underway in a fortnight’s time, we view this tour involving matches against quality opposition as a valuable opportunity to get the boys match-ready for the start of the season,” said Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr on the club website.
“We intend to hit the ground running in our opening fixture against Chippa and establish forward momentum from the word ‘go’,” he adds.
Following the conclusion of the Tanzanian leg, the Chiefs contingent will journey south to Botswana for another keenly anticipated clash against Township Rollers a week later, on 29 July, at the national stadium in the capital, Gaborone. Kick-off is at 3pm.
The squad will then return home to prepare to host Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, 6 August in the opening match of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership campaign.
