Supersport United coach, Gavin Hunt, was disappointed after his side lost 1-0 to Orlando Pirates in the DStv Premiership.
Matsatsantsa had a penalty given against them by referee Jelly Chavani when Monnapule Saleng was brought down inside the box Onismor Bhasera.
Orlando Pirates defender, Tapelo Xoki, converted the spot kick to give the home side three points. And during a post-match press conference, Hunt, refused to do dwell on the match official’s decision.
“We lost and we are very disappointed but that is football,” said a disappointed Hunt. “Another penalty given against us and we had quite a few this season, I’m disappointed.”
Supersport United’s Zakhele Lepasa missed a few chances during the match.
“Lepasa’s miss, how many do we want? Lots of misses, lots of opportunities, lots of balls cross the box and we don’t score. Yeah, I’m disappointed. That is how football works, it’s points. Nothing else, we can talk all day. But I’m proud of the players.
We’ve done very well with the squad we have, lots of loans and frees. The way we set our team up, we try to win the game. I thought we have all the opportunities but didn’t win.”
