Kane scores first hattrick for Bayern

Harry Kane’s stellar beginning to his Bayern Munich journey continued on Saturday as he notched his first Bundesliga hat-trick in a resounding 7-0 triumph over VFL Bochum.

The England international also contributed two assists in this comprehensive victory, sending a resounding message to the rest of the league.

Kane’s hat-trick brings his tally to seven goals in his first five league appearances, accompanied by an impressive three assists for his new club.

The former Tottenham Hotspur confidently converted a penalty in the mid-week Champions League encounter against Manchester United, amassing a remarkable eight goals across all competitions.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting opened the account for Thomas Tuchel’s side within just four minutes. Kane swiftly followed suit, displaying his predatory instincts as he pounced on a loose ball in the Bochum penalty area, driving it into the corner of the net.

By halftime, Bayern were leading 4-0, with Kane providing an assist for Leroy Sane before securing his second goal of the match from the penalty spot ten minutes into the second half.

The hat-trick hero then completed his memorable day, slotting home a near-post cross from Noussair Mazraoui two minutes from the final whistle and securing the match ball.

This remarkable feat marked Kane’s first domestic hat-trick since his back-to-back trebles for Tottenham against Burnley and Southampton in December 2017.

With this victory, Bayern maintains their undefeated start to the Bundesliga season, firmly establishing themselves at the top of the table with 13 points from four wins and a draw in their opening five games.
