Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Rulani Mokwena, believes that his side will face a very motivated Royal AM in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday.
Masandawana will host the KZN side fresh from a 5-2 victory over Al Ahly in the Caf Champions League.
“It’s not easy because we are in the last three competitions until the end of the season, we have a lot travelling in between [matches],” said Mokwena.
“Now we have to face a very motivated Royal AM side with a new coach in John Maduka, unbeaten since he arrived. I will watch the match against Al Ahly because there are a few things I didn’t like but I will speak to the players about it.
“We will watch the clips, recover the players, they will get some rest and we will start preparing for the Royal AM. It’s tough and everyone is going to think because it’s Royal AM it’s going to be easy but I can tell you now.”
Against the Egyptian side, Sundowns created a hostile environment for their opponents thanks to their massive support from fans.
“They [supporters] need to be the 12th and the 13th men, they need to sing, bring the drum and make the atmosphere hostile and uncomfortable for the oppositions. That is what they did [against Al Ahly] and that is what helped us even in the second half when it was not easy.
The match against Royal AM will kick off 19h30.
