Mosimane: There are no easy matches

Al Wahda’s coach, Pitso Mosimane, has underscored the unique significance of the upcoming match against the reigning champions, Shabab Al-Ahli.

This Friday, fifth-placed Al Wahda will go head-to-head with the second-placed Shabab Al-Ahli in the UAE Pro League.

Mosimane highlights the motivational elements this fixture carries, not only for the fans but also for the players themselves.

“There are no easy matches, but there are games that everyone sees as more special and complex,” Mosimane told journalists during the press conference.

“And here we are talking about playing against the reigning champions. We will face an opponent that showed great quality last season and confirmed it this season in their recent match.

“Shabab Al Ahli is a well-balanced team in all areas and strong in attack. “We need to deal with the opponent’s strengths and exploit their weaknesses at the technical level.”

Mosimane concluded his statement by expressing confidence in his players saying: “I trust the players and their ability to handle such sensitive matches that are decided by intricate details.”

“We have shown defensive strength by keeping clean sheets in the last three matches. Now, we need to work better on the offensive side, with greater focus and effort to secure the three points.”
