Chelsea transfer expenditure will reach £371 million (R7.6 billion this season with the signing of Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk.
According to media reports, a £88m (R1. 8 billion) transfer deal between Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea has been will be concluded and Mudryk will be arriving in London on for medical tests.
“FC Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov and Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali discussed Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer to Chelsea FC today. Parties are very close to agree on player’s transfer to the club,” said a statement from the club.
The forward will sign a contract until 2030.
