Kaizer Chiefs player, Keagan Dolly, admits that criticism labelled against Amakhosi is justified.
Amakhosi has had a season full of ups and downs with the current run of four consecutive wins the best run this season.
“This season has been a roller coaster for us, sometimes we played good football and end losing the game,” Dolly told journalist during the club media day.
“We allow teams to get back. We lost against Golden Arrows, we took an early lead and they came back. For us now, we just have to try and get consistency.
“When we get results it will bring confidence to the team and then we can start on focussing fixing what we need to fixed. There are certain games where we could have done better, but to win championships you need to win each and every game.”
Amakhosi takes on Stellenbosch in the DStv Premiership this weekend. The team has 37 points from 23 games – 20 points came away from home with 17 points achieved at home.
“I don’t know if it’s a mentality thing but I think we try to go to every game the same way, approach every game with the same mentality and try to win it especially when we play at home.
“I know sometimes we get a little bit relaxed once we take the lead, we lose concentration. When we travel for away games, we need to have the same effort that we have when we play at home.”
