Sekhukhune United midfielder, Kamohelo Mokotjo, believes his team has more quality ahead of crucial DStv Premiership match against Golden Arrows.
Sekhukhune United and Golden Arrows are lying on position 11 and twelve respectively on the log table, separated by goal difference. Babina Noko drew 1-1 against Chippa United in the last match while Golden Arrows beat Swallows FC. 1-0
“Preparations for Golden Arrows are going well considering that Arrows is an unpredictable team,” Mokotjo said. “They are busy on the pitch but it’s for us to be patient and to trust in what we are doing.
“We have to stay in the game for 90 minutes, whether we score first or concede. Whether things are good or tough – it’s important that we suffer together. If we suffer together, we will win the game because I believe we have more quality in this team.”
Since returning to the PSL, the 32-year-old player has played three league games and two Nedbank Cups. Despite the steady progress, the player says he is not yet satisfied with his progress.
“I think I will never be satisfied; things will never be perfect. The focus is for the club to create a good foundation for itself.
“I make an impact within that; we all have the same mindset when it comes to what we want to achieve. I’m a team player, I can’t do it alone, I need my teammates to achieve things.”
Sekhukhune United plays Golden Arrows on Sunday, 2 April and kick off is at 15h00.
