EURO Qualifiers Round-Up

Spain thrashed Cyprus 6-0 in Group A, while Belgium kept their unbeaten run going against Estonia and Italy saw off Ukraine.

Spain’s substitutes had a significant impact in the second half, with Ferran Torres scoring twice, and Álex Baena, a debutant, also finding the back of the net.

Nico Williams played a crucial role in creating the opening goals for Spain before being forced off due to injury. Joselu and Dani Carvajal also contributed to Spain’s victory.

Belgium continued their unbeaten run by defeating Estonia in their European Qualifying match.

Jan Vertonghen, making his 150th international appearance, scored early in the game. AS Roma forward, Romelu Lukaku, scored two goals in quick succession in the second half to secure the win for Belgium.

Leandro Trossard also scored for Belgium, adding to the celebrations. Italy won their match against Ukraine in coach Luciano Spalletti’s first home match in charge.

Inter Milan midfielder, Davide Frattesi, scored two goals for Italy, helping them leapfrog Ukraine into second place in their group. Ukraine replied with a goal by Andriy Yarmolenko before halftime.

Italy had several opportunities to score more goals in the second half, but the Ukrainian goalkeeper and the crossbar denied them.
