Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Teboho Mokoena, says that he struggled with intensity after joining from Supersport United last season.
The 25-year-old player signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Mamelodi Sundowns during the 2021/22 season January transfer window and only managed to complete four matches of the eight that he played.
But this season he has been one of the key players in Rulani Mokwena’s team.
“I struggled with intensity when I got here last season,” the player says. And during the preseason I told myself that I need to work harder. My trip to Dubai also helped me a lot because it was very hot on that side. I did a lot work with my endurance and stamina and I came back in a better shape. I’m enjoying myself right now playing at number 6. The competition we have is what makes Mamelodi Sundowns a better team.”
Mamelodi Sundowns takes on Supersport United in the DStv top of the table clash and the match will kick off at 18h00.
