Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli are back on top of the Saudi First Division log table after beating Al Jabalain 2-1 away from home.
This was the first match since the former Bafana Bafana coach was voted the coach of the month.
Hassan Al-Ali opened the scoring for Al Ahli before Colombian international, Anderson Plata, equalised for Al Jabalain with 12 minutes remaining.
On the 90th minute, Mosimane’s side were awarded a penalty which was converted by Algerian international, Ryad Boudebouz.
Al Ahli are top of the standings on 55 points but only three points separates Mosimane team and fourth-placed Al Riyadh.
