Orlando Pirates could welcome back, captain Innocent Maela, when they take on Amazulu in the last DStv Premiership match of the season.
Maela’s last match was a 2-1 against Cape Town City and according to the Buccaneers website, the 30-year-could return against Usuthu for their final league fixture at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
“The Buccaneers will be missing the services of defender Tapelo Xoki, who is forced to sit out the encounter due to a one-match ban after picking up a fourth yellow for the season in the game against Sekhukhune last Saturday.
“They could however be boosted in defence with the potential return of captain Innocent Maela, while Nkosinathi Sibisi is likely to slot back into the starting XI after being rested over the weekend.”
Second-placed Pirates are tied on 51 points with Supersport United and the two teams are separated by goal difference.
Usuthu, on the other hand, are lying on position 12 and a win could see them jump to position ten.
Amazulu will also miss, Riaan Hanamub, who serving a one-match suspension while midfielder Siphesihle Maduna is again from suspension after serving out his red-card suspension.
