Kaizer Chiefs coach, Arthur Zwane, says Marumo Gallants want the win more than Amakhosi when the two sides meet in DStv Premiership on Saturday.
Gallants are rooted at the bottom of the log while Kaizer Chiefs are fighting for the Caf Champions League spot.
“It’s a very difficult because we are playing against individual players who want to prove themselves, they want to go to greener pastures.
Apart from that they are a solid team they are just unfortunate to find themselves at the bottom of the log,” said Zwane.
“They are in the Caf Confederations Cup quarter final and some of the teams there are difficult to play against, they are top teams. That itself tells you that they are good team, they are not there by a fluke or by a mistake.”
Marumo Gallants are on 23 point – just a point behind 15th placed Maritzburg United. The Limpopo-based side won two and drew two in the last four league matches.
“They have been doing tremendously well. If we go into this game looking at where they are on the log, we will be making the biggest mistake. They are fighting for their lives, they are more motivated than us, they want it more than us,” added Zwane.
“It’s up to us to rise to the occasion and show that we really want the second spot and show that.
“They will come into this game as under dogs and yet are more dangerous than any other we have played against this season.”
