Zwane: We had some sleepless nights this season

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Arthur Zwane, has revealed that bad results this season gave his side sleepless nights.

Amakhosi are fourth on the log and have suffered eleven defeats in the league so far this season.
“I’m looking forward to the game [against Cape Town City], we never stop hunting,” said Zwane speaking ahead of the match this weekend.

“As long as you are a player a or a coach that is part and parcel of Kaizer Chiefs, you always want to play to win. We want to finish the season on a high.

“We’ve had our ups and downs, we had moments where we were happy and also had moments had moments that gave us sleepless nights in terms of not getting results and the number of injuries, inconsistency when it comes to the starting eleven.”

Zwane took over the coaching reigns at the beginning the season and according to media reports, Kaizer Chiefs contemplating appointing a new coach next season. Zwane says admits that the current season has been difficult.

“It’s been a learning season and a very difficult one – a season where one can say, from a new squad, new technical team it was not bad at all. We are looking forward to improve things and get better.

“We are playing a team that has a very good technical team, very good players who have been doing well and also playing to end the season well.”
